SprayTally: Pesticide Records – Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

The short version

SprayTally does not collect your data. There's no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Bhata LLC has no server for your records, can't see them, and never sells or shares them.

Where your records are kept

Everything you enter (your name and license, business details, customers, products, jobs, photos, notes and change history) is stored on your iPhone. If you turn on iCloud sync, it is also kept in your own private iCloud account so it appears on your other devices. Only you can access it.

SprayTally Team

If you start a team and invite technicians, your business records (customers, products, jobs, photos and record rules) are shared with the people you invite through Apple's iCloud sharing. Each technician's name and license are added to the jobs they log and to the change history. Your team's records are stored in the team owner's iCloud account and on team members' devices. You can remove a technician at any time from Settings → Team. A technician who leaves the team has the team's records removed from their iPhone. Bhata LLC can't see team records.

Location and weather (optional)

When you tap GPS or Get Current Weather while logging a job, SprayTally uses your location to fill in the job address and to get the current weather from the US National Weather Service (api.weather.gov). Only the job's coordinates are sent, and only to get the weather for that moment. The address and weather results are saved with the job in your records. SprayTally does not track your location.

Photos and camera

Job photos you take or choose are saved with the job in your records. SprayTally only reads the photos you pick.

Exports, PDFs and customer slips

PDF records, summaries, spreadsheets and customer service slips are created on your iPhone and go only where you choose to send them (for example by email or text).

Purchases

SprayTally Pro and SprayTally Team subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store. All payments are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Crash reports

SprayTally contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports.

Not legal advice

SprayTally is a record-keeping tool. It never recommends products, rates or amounts. State record templates are a guide only and may be incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws and pesticide labels that apply to you.

Deleting your data

Records can be voided in the app but are kept, because pesticide records must usually be retained for several years. Deleting SprayTally removes its data from your iPhone. To remove the iCloud copy, in the Settings app go to your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → SprayTally → Delete Data. Team owners can stop sharing from Settings → Team → Manage Team.

Children

SprayTally is a business tool. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
